The trail gradually ascends to Ghorepani, offering beautiful landscapes, terraced farmlands, and warm village hospitality.

The highlight of the trek is the early morning hike to Poon Hill (3,210 m), renowned for its breathtaking sunrise and panoramic views of the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. Peaks such as Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Tukuche, Varaha Shikhar, and Lamjung Himal dominate the horizon, creating an unforgettable mountain spectacle.

If the time permits, we can take a leisure walk around Lakeside.

Day 3

Early morning, we will take a trek up to Poon Hill (3210m) through fieldstone steps to witness the stunning sunrise overlooking the Himalayan range. From Ghorepani, the trip takes between 45 minutes to an hour.

In the Himalayan Annapurna region, the Ghorepani Poon Hill climb is a brief but worthwhile hike. It can be also be done in three to four days and is appropriate for people of all ages, including families with young children. Trekking through vibrant communities and rhododendron forests, the Annapurna mountain range is a constant backdrop. Reaching Poon Hill, which provides sweeping views of the Annapurna range, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Tukuche, Varaha Shikhar, and Lamjung Himal, is the trek's ultimate highlight. It is a memory worthy experience to watch the sunrise from Poon Hill over these breathtaking snow-capped mountains. A modest level of fitness is needed for the trek, but since the highest point is just 3,210 meters, there isn't much of a chance of altitude sickness. The trek is possible all year round, however there's a chance of snow and ice in the winter and muddy, slick routes in the summer from monsoon rains. All things considered, the Ghorepani Poon Hill trek is a fantastic way to quickly soak in the Himalayan scenery.

Hike back to Ghorepani for a hearty breakfast, and then we will start our trek back to Ulleri where we complete our remarkable trip.
